Loading Pa700 Oriental styles to PA1000?

Post by denistu007 »

Hi there,

Anybody tried to load a complete factory set from Pa700 Oriental to Pa1000?
Curious if this would work ..

Thanks,

I heard from the PA4x world earlier, that this won't work as Oriental version's relies on bootstrap of the OS itself. So we cannot load them on the regular OS. I could be wrong but that is what I heard.

Thanks

All Oriental models have extra PCM sound library for this purpose in internal mobo nand flash memory called "Localized Memory"
so by definition a non Oriental PaSeries model can not reproduce styles & sounds that have references to non existing sound library (MS).
Therefore even if BKP files between models were compatible , Oriental PCM samples will be always absent in international models ...

Hope this helps
