Is it possible to use 'markers' in a SMF in this way -
I want to play through the SMF song and then return to the 'bridge' if I want. Can I set a 'marker' at the bridge so that I can go back to it when I want?
thank you

I can do this on my Pa3x so I presume its the same.
Put the midi as a Songbook entry.
Play the song through Songbook and press the two buttons that open up Markers at the same time (on mine its Lyrics and Score buttons).
when the song gets to the point you want to be able to go back to then press ADD marker.
Stop the song.
Save Mk. Then re-Save midi.
(Don't worry too much about hitting the Add button at precisely the right time because it can easily be edited later).
You can go back into Markers and edit the Name (eg "Repeat Chorus" or "Bridge") and the position of the markers.
I'm not sure if you can do all this with just playing a midi - it might work - but I've always done it in Songbook.
