How to Separately Control Volume of Audio Out vs. Headphone

Post by 76keyman »

The Pa3XLe Master Volume knob controls the volume for both the Audio Out lines and the Headphone jack together. I'd like to do this separately in some way. When I'm performing in a gig, I'd like to "mute" or turn the volume off on the Output and then to listen to the keyboard on a headphone so I can confirm the Sounds and Settings I've chosen are correct before starting the song. I don't want to have to pull the cables out of the back to do this. The Assignable Knob does not have the keyboard output volume as an option, but this would be a great place for this feature. I don't use a Volume pedal. Would that work, or would both Output lines and Phono both be controlled by a foot pedal? Is there a special pedal needed? Any ideas how to do this elegantly? Thanks for any help.

Great Volume Pedal Suggestion

Post by 76keyman »

Thank you for your quick reply, and for the suggestion of a specific pedal. It looks like a perfect fit. I'll do it. And the small mixer idea is interesting as well. But I should have already bought a volume pedal anyway.

Turning Of in global Internal Speakers is not effecting Audio Output or headphone signal, is only for speakers.
In this case doesn't make any sense.
