Kronos 2 SSD Drive Upgrade

Kronos 2 SSD Drive Upgrade

Just wanted to share that i was able swap my Kronos 2 SSD Main boot drive and upgraded it to 250gb Samsung 850 Evo SATA III SSD I did notice a 10sec faster boot time in the process compared to the generic drive that was installed. I came across several issues it took me awhile to figure out Cloning Vs DVD install. But it is worth it now having more memory. Installing a secondary drive was very simple just add the sata cable and format the drive. I did make a video of the process and i did on a 61 and 73 key Kronos 2.

Did cloning work? I also have a secondary add, but wanting to replace the primary too to a higher capacity one.
Or if you could share the replacing procedure (software/cloning wise).

Here is the video i posted i hope it helps some what on the install. I recommend cloning and then doing the full install with the DVD's this will allow all authorizations to be installed. if you just reformat the drive and install with DVD'S without cloning it takes about an hour to install all the DVD then you have to download all authorization codes and enter in which is just more time.

May I ask a question? Have you cloned the disks with the inateck dock station or used a windows pc?

I use the inatek docking station but i haven't used it offline i use it to connect both drives to the pc and use software. I have been wanting to try that maybe on another chance i get i will see if it works without the pc.
