It all depends on the type of sound you are looking for. I"m not at my Kronos right now but I did create my own sound that I use as a basis for most of my organ tones. I also use different Leslie sims depending on the sound that I want.
I think I started with a blank program slot, called ut the CX-3 engine and just started fooling around wiht various settings until I found something that I liked.
There was a thread ages ago about accurately replicating the Leslie. I think if I'm not mistaken that it involved adding a Leslie sim in the IFX slot and making sure the rotor speeds were exactly the same as the one in your program.

If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

There was a very informative thread about a year ago started by David C. Polich entitled, "A Better CX-3 Leslie".

FWIW, this helped me engineer what I consider to be a more organic sounding organ on my Kronos.

The sounds are more authentic sounding of a Hammond and Leslie. Go to the Organimation and click on Learn more and you can listen to the differences in sounds. It gives a list of improvements of the organ sound. That would save alot time listing the improvements. Good Luck

I'm a little late, but most of my organ sounds are based on Organimation patches. I felt they were pretty good. Hope you enjoy it.

I think they're good enough that I'm buying them today along with the Funk and Soul Brass sounds from Korg.
