Behringer Deepmind 12 VR video

Seems like this will be another aspect of synthesis - joining some already established VR devices.
Check out the Mod Matrix at about 3.30

Seems like a logical use for AR and Hololens. Quite easy to do too.

It is pretty cool technology/concept for instruments. So we would buy the headsets, then instead of physical boards, we just buy virtual keyboard packs.Seems like a logical use for AR and Hololens. Quite easy to do too.
Wow, except for the headsets, this could be the beginning of the end of physical instruments. I vision a band onstage playing air, yet awesome sounds come out of the speakers...

Then not to shock the audience to much, we put up onto the screens what the band members are playing on ... vDrums, vGuitars, vKeyboards, and vVocals?
Synth Wars - The Rise of the ARP 2600, OBX8 Kenobi - The Return of the Synth, MoogClaraVox, Criklon V2, in living color, Moog Model D, Neuman U67, 1961 Hammond C3 Brother of B , PS3300, to Poly Infinity and Beyond !!!
With AR they won't need to be on stage. They will be playing in your Home and you will have exclusive backstage access. It will allow them to connect to fans like never before.Hooked On Sonics wrote:It is pretty cool technology/concept for instruments. I've experienced this myself already in VR. It's a very strange feeling.

New video from SOnicstate and a full review to come.

Apparently the final release will have real wooden side panels. As if that might be a deal breaker.

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Behringer synthKsynth wrote: Apparently the final release will have real wooden side panels. As if that might be a deal breaker.
My friends all play Junos, I must make amends
Been digital since the '80s, no help from my friends
But Lord, make sure it's got wooden cheek-ends.

Yes, the forum is apolitical... Ksynth isn't venting any political stance - It's just a link as part of his signature, you don't have to click it.DennyC wrote:Ksynth,
Why is there a link to a gossip blog rag at the bottom of your posts? I thought the forum is to be apolitical!
Ironically, YOU'VE made his post political

Honestly, he doesn't need a defender. Your logic is like "it depends on the meaning of what is is". If his "signature" is obviously political in its essence and obviously suggestive of being political in its content...it is political! In other words, if another member had a "Donald Trump for President.com" as a signature, then that would not be politicalBroadwave wrote:Yes, the forum is apolitical... Ironically, YOU'VE made his post political
unless someone pointed it out.
Be serious... to suggest that just because I pointed out the easily discerned implications of the character of the "signature', that I morphed it into being political. Completely absurd.
Let's get back to the music aspect. I think the DM12 could be a great
addition to my Kronos. Hearing it in person would be great; as it seems it has a variety of sounds that would compliment the soundsets of the Kronos.
Kronos 2 61, Wavestation A/D, Yamaha Genos and others.
