Hi Antony,

i'm back from my trial to install this soundset into my Kronos. It doesn't work but i don't know why?. Where's my fault?
I stored the downloaded and unpacked files to a USB stick.
I was wondering why there are two files to download, after the download i got two files Austrian Upright Piano.part1 and Austrian Upright Piano. part2. But the content of both files are the same.

The following datas are on the stick:
ExsD.tar.gz
EXs_INSTALLER.exsins
IDF
EXsC.tar.gz
EXsB.tar.gz
EXsA.tar.gz
I have no idea what the meaning behind this names, but when i click on the INSTALLER.exsins. I can't install this because the "INSTALL" button is not black it's grey. I can only choose the "CANCEL" button, and that's it.

Please can you help me, or somebody here who has successfully installed this soundset.

Your help is really appreciated.
Have a good night or a good day wherever you are. In Germany it is now time to go to sleep and i hope tomorrow i can read some news.

Best regards
Dirk from Germany[/img]

Dirk , You seem to ignore basics of compression ... part1 & part2 are one compressed file splitted for server purposes !

This you describe won't work , just copying scatterd files in root of your USB stick ... read included PDF manual !

Briefly the installation workflow (just like Korg store EXs) is the following :
- Get an empty thumb drive of 1-4 Gb and format it on your Kronos
- Put in same folder/level (f.e. desktop) 2 downloaded files , click on one of them (no matter which one) and select option UnRar "here"
- Click on extracted folder "Austrian Upright Piano" that contains the above files and copy it as it is in your formatted thumb drive.
- Insert it on your Kronos USB slot , goto Media/Load , open folder Austrian Upright Piano , click on file EXs_INSTALLER.exsins ,
"Install" tab will turn to red , click on it and follow istructions PDF !

If "Install" tab is not activated (gray) then you did something wrong , like installation files are in 2 folders level depth !

Spieler,

I was having the same questions that you are. One thing i noticed was that if you put the two Part 1 and Part 2 files on your desktop and use 7-Zip, they will both extract into one Austrian Upright Piano folder.

But only if you click the Part 1 .rar file first. If you click the Part 2 .rar file first it will extract but generate an error on the EXs.A.tar.gz file with a size of 0 KB.
By extracting Part 1 .rar first, the EXs.A.tar.gz file is 192,911 KB.

These I guess are the complete decompressed files.

I haven't done it yet but I assume you put the entire Austrian Upright Piano folder on the root of your USB drive, plug it into your Kronos and run the EXs.INSTALLER.exsins file. Not putting the loose files on the USB root but keeping them in the folder.

Antony can correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, I like to place programs where i want to put them in my Kronos by choosing my own location bank.
If I run the installer does it also load the programs automatically into a default User Bank or can I choose the locations?

- Server compressed files were made with latest commercial WinRar so this is the primary program to decompress files else click on part1.rar.
- In included PDF you can find the detailed instructions of installing EXs.
- EXs installer just creates the directory in SSD , PCG will be loaded manually.
- You can't install programs in other Program Bank , because Performance sound will not work properly (even if reconstructed).
- The complete Piano sound development can be found only in Performance mode !
- Performace sound bank can be loaded anywhere !
- Users that their Program Bank U_GG is not empty , save your PCG , load my PCG/U_GG in any free Bank , change Bank references
from U_GG to that bank and load back your previously saved U_GG bank with your stuff ! (read OS v3 manual for details of this function)
