So I was trying to midi sync these 3 and I am having issues.
First I tried it from E2 to ES2 to JDXI and I couldn't get it the E2 to trigger the JD-XI through the ES2 then I found a video which states you have to use the JD-XI as master, so I did it the other way JD-XI to E2 to ES2 and now the JD-XI will trigger the ES but not the ES2, I am like 99% sure I have all the settings right for it to potentially work. Is this even possible though or can I only trigger 2 but not 3?
Syncing roland JD-XI to E2 to ES2 problem.

Are you asking about "midi syncing", as you initially stated, or "midi triggering" as you mention later?
I can trigger the four parts of the JD-Xi from the pads 1, 2, 3 and 10 on the E2S.
I can also sync or not sync JD-Xi patterns to the E2S, and visa-versa.
It sounds, however, like you may be running into a midi through issue.
The Electribes and JD-Xi have midi in and out, but not midi through.
Sync and Trigger will have to come from the unit directly connected to the JD-Xi.
Hope this helps.

Yeah I was wanting to trigger all 3 to start by starting the JD-XI. I totally noobed out about the midi through though. This makes sense. Thank you!7zark7 wrote:Are you asking about "midi syncing", as you initially stated, or "midi triggering" as you mention later?
