Sampling different sounds only on specific keys

...without filling the space between them.

Is it possible ?

Ex: i want to have a sound on D2 , another one on G2 , another one D3, smthng else on G3 etc.....and between these notes i want nothing. i want these sounds just on these specific notes . IS it possible?

Samples normally extend downwards automatically until the next sample in the map. You could put a blank sample in between though.

Could you use Zone Range to determine the spacing for each sample?

I think zone ranges always need to go end to end, so that wouldn't really help. But I'm not sure.
