Just for posterity: The 13" makes a perfect fit. As you laid down, I've chosen blue.

I found a secondhand DJ Hero Renegade set for £3 GBP in a charity shop. They go for about £20 on eBay. With a bit of tweaking it fits my EMX2 & SP-404SX quite well.. The legs are heavy so I'm going to adapt the base layer where they fit for leads & smaller gadgets. Might even mount external jack sockets and wire it all up internally.

Not the best built box (MDF, like hardboard, cheap rivets & leatherette finish), but better than bubble wrap!

Can I get my own pics on here or do I have to upload them somewhere else and link? This is not my pic but it shows the box & legs well enough.
