A while back I used nail polish to label the pads 1 through 16, and after it dried it started to flake off. I think some flakes may have gone underneath the pads and are affecting their ability to respond. Or I may just be paranoid. Either way, does anyone know how safe it is to open it up, and whether the pads can be cleaned from the underside?
