Time Slice stereo samples ES2

Post by colulizard »

Can you time slice stereo samples on the ES2?
I only had an hour or so last night and was trying to slice two loops, but couldn't do it.
(I got distracted by messing about with the start point of the samples instead and seeing what happened instead of actually importing mono samples and trying  )
I was getting an error which said "cannot slice" (or something like that). No options to adjust the sensitivity or anything else, so i think I'm doing something wrong somewhere.
The manual has about five words that I saw on the topic.
Section 3 - editing a sample
"• Time Slice: Divides the sample by beats."

As the manual says. You can only playback stereo samples.
If you want time slice you have to use mono samples.

Thanks.
Just seen it in the parameter guide! I was looking in the owner's manual.
It would be useful to have that note in both.
