Combi specific pedal assignments?

I'm trying to figure out a way to use RT Knob 1 with an expression pedal. I have two timbres in combi mode that sound fantastic when I do a filter sweep on RT Knob 1. The thing is, I need two hands to play the part so pedal it is!

I guess the most straight-forward way would be to assign my pedal to RT Knob 1 in the Global menu but the range of the pedal seems all wrong. The cutoff is fully open after about fourth of the way. Can I somehow refine the pedal settings and assign a range to the parameter? Any other suggestions?

Using Karma, you can remap the expression pedal.

Alternatively, you could make a duplicate version of the program in question where exp pedal is assigned to filter cutoff, and use that program in the combo instead.

Using Karma? Really? I thought Karma was only for GE:s, arpeggios and whatnot. How do you do it?

I guess going into the programs separately is my best bet. Just feels so redundant when the desired parameter is already mapped to something else.

I don't remember the details but it wasn't all that difficult. I used it to remap exp pedal do a different midi channel so that the local exp pedal could control a part triggered by a controller keyboard. Karma experts can chime in.

Long story short, you don't actually use a GE, in fact I think you turn it off or have it stopped. But you set expression pedal as an input, and for the output, select whatever the CC# is for the knob. That's about it.
