Can you use the Emx-1 as a Polyphonic Synth??

Is the Emx-1 A monophonic synth? When i lite the keyboard button, i can only play one note at a time? Same thing happens when i use my Roland JD 800 to control the synth parts? Input please? Am i missing something??

I believe that someone made some software that you run on your computer connected to the EMX and an external keyboard to play each of the synth parts like a polysynth. I will post the link if I find it.
