The pads do not blink, but the incoming pattern blinks in the dsplay.
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.

Clicks on 1.10

So here is a comparison. The first few seconds are part of the intro to a track recorded a couple of months ago on the e2, oscillator is SYN-SINE 5, the little repeating motif is off a Volca, so ignore that. The second bit is the same pattern recorded into logic today. i think we can say the clicks have been improved.

Really enjoying this update, the whole unit just feels like it's no longer struggling to keep up with me. Effects tails, pattern copying, saving while playing with no glitches, this is starting to look more and more like a really viable live unit.

Small bug when changing octaves, when you're at the lowest or highest (slow blinking), you can not go back to the fast blinking state without changing 2 octaves first. Doesn't matter much expect if change octaves when playing live. Hope I explained that properly :D

Thanks so much for the review/posts just got an Electribe sampler, I have been lurking and reading held off getting the E2 due to the "issues' the new Electribe will compliment the E2S and my Octatrack

Now what to do with my Volca sample

I still definitely get a glitch when saving a running pattern.

After watching your review I was sold and The E2 is amazing looking to make my nexr purchase. So when I read about the issues with the E2 I held off, glad to hear the update fixed a lot of issues.

Can't wait to start running audio through the E2's filters

Currently feel the E2 will compliment my Octatrack.

( By the way Tarekith it was your videos and blogs about the Octatrack that made pull the trigger on that magic box, I know you no longer work with the Elektron boxes)

Going from a busy part to a very quiet break is no longer frustrating but nice with the fx tails carrying on :D Still can notice some notes not running their course, hope they can fix that too. Till then a little more reverb here and some extra delay there will cover it up.

Few days ago i installed the firmware. Did a factory reset today and it brought back all the factory patterns ( mitsabishi's etc), did that happen in the previous firmware? First i struggled with the part copying mode but iTS very easy: go to the new song, from there you select the source pattern and the source part, the click the destination. This helped me a lot today, this way iTS easyer to create multi-pattern songs for live use with Some variety.

Same as Frenzies - Write To while playing still stumbles.

Please temper the fanboyism.

LOL !!!!

Well not sure about that just yet ! the past few days have ne thinking that the E2 would probably be a better fit than the ES2 especially since they stripped it of the E2 filters so might keep the Volca sample and get an E2.

Can someone confirm whether or not there is threshold recording/sampling on the sampler?

Thanks!

Not that I can find at this point. Really wish they would write a proper manual
