Does anyone know how to get the Vocalist on the pa3x to hold the chords that are being sung?
The Preset that I want to use, has the harmony set to 'Notes' not 'Chord'... is that the problem? Is there no way to make those notes 'hold'?
Pa3x Vocalist won't hold notes

Yes. That is how it's set up. Set to "chord 3 voices" and the "sung" harmonies will hold. "Notes 3 voices" only will sound the sung harmonies as long as the keys are being depressed. I think this by design; so that you can quickly affect your vocals as you run through chords. Much like "scat" singing.

It might be nice as an option to have the VH input chord 'held' if the NTA is, but I agree that having to physically play the notes only when you need them is probably the better 'default' behavior.
There isn't much music where block chord harmonies surround every single note of the melody (unless you are after the Andrews Sisters type sound!). Harmony tends to be more a 'call and response' thing more often.
Plus, if using Fingered2 NTA response, this allows you to play one or two part harmonies that actually move contrary to the melody or are dissonant with the basic chord without the arranger chords changing at all. Pretty cool!
