Issues using Kronos X/KARMA in Logic Pro 9 as Midi

Hey guys first time posting a thread on this forum, been reading a lot of forums everywhere looking to find the solution to my problem. I seen other people post videos of using the Kronos' sounds directly into Logic 9 as an external MIDI and use the MIDI data from the kronos sounds to further edit on Logic's piano roll to quantize etc. I also seen them have the patches to all the kronos sounds in logic so they select the sounds desired directly thru logic. I've had my kronos and have been very disappointed in not being able to use the sounds directly in Logic to finish producing my records. I cannot play exactly on point so using an audio track on logic doesn't allow me to polish up what I played exactly how I desire.

So pretty much I am looking for the answer on how I can produce my records using the Kronos sounds directly on logic as if it was a logic software instrument. I have all these beautiful sounds on the kronos but I just want to sequence everything on logic and not on kronos. I don't use the combis and sequencing on the kronos but just love the sounds and I want to further sequence everything on Logic.

Yesterday I bought KARMA for Kronos hoping this can help me, but that didn't help me solve this solution at all. I don't know if I should return KARMA or if it really is a software I need. Praying that somebody helps me use my kronos as I initially intended.


I have an
IMac
RME BabyFace (audio interface)
Logic 9
Pro Tools 10
KARMA for Kronos X
Kronos X (connected thru USB and also have midi in/out cables going into BabyFace )

P.S. I can use the kronos to play logics software instruments and I hear the kronos on playback when I open an audio track. But when it comes to recording midi data and hearing playback, I hear nothing.
