Change the Patch for each of the Genre buttons

You press "Synth" and it takes you to the first Synth patch, "Lead", "Bass", "Piano" etc, but how do you set exactly which patch it takes you to?
I used the librarian to shift patches into each group, and that works, but if SE/VOC button goes over patch number 255, then it reverts to patch number 1. Looks like some sort of limitation in the software.
It would be nice if you could manually set the patch number each of those buttons take you to.
