Songs are disappearing...

Hi,
I'm just starting to play with Songs and recording. I created 2 new songs, and per the manual I made sure to save the songs to disk before I shut down. When I turned the keyboard back on, the songs were still in disk, but they no longer showed up under "Songs". I had to reload them from disk.
I'm sure there's something basic I'm just missing to keep the songs as actual songs -- right?

Hi,

Songs are stored in volatile memory, and like your computer data , they need to be stored to disk before turning off. When you turn back on, song data is clear.

So you will need to reload your Song file each time you reboot. It's a shame you couldn't set one to autoload like samples.

Thanks Derek. I guess that does make sense, although you're right, it would have been nice to not have to load them every time you turn on.
