Hi there
I'm new to the group, MS20 and analog synthesis.
I'm heavily digging my new mini, and I wonder what some of you prefer for outboard effects? I'm working with Logic Pro 9/Mainstage 2 and Live sometimes, but I'd like some hardware effects that turn my crank, stompbox, rackmount, whatever. Some of the MainStage effects sound pretty nice to me but I'm tired of mousing around, although I might explore mapping some of the effects to knobs on a NanoKontrol or Oxygen49.
I have a Lexicon MX200 at the moment but I'm underwhelmed.
What's everyone doing out there that's working for them?
Thanks
Paul

I use either my old tape echo (one of these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mojGJjoZYmo
or my Space Echo pedal which does a pretty good job of aping a real tape echo.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
The Eventide stuff sounds amazing doesn't it? Spending more on the fx than I did on the synth?!?!
cvtele - I thought the H9 looked pretty great but I like the immediacy of having knobs to tweak. How do you find it in terms of having to menu dive and all that? Have you used the iPad app interface for it?

I'm more guitar player than keyboard so don't mind the price. As for tweaking, I do use the iPad app which is incredible because you can use the screen as an x/y pad and adjust any two parameters by moving your finger around the screen.paulclement wrote:Thanks for the replies everyone.
