Why does'nt korg make Jewish styles?

I think for the most part the keyboards come with a very good selection of generic styles that make them popular world wide. This data is developed or at least overseen by KORG Italy.

In my opinion I feel that KORG Italy should advise distributors to develop some additional content that is to be included CD or as a Download which offers very specify regional styles for their location in the world.

KORG used to do this years back with the i30 series. You had a floppy disk with folders like UK, German and so on on them which loaded location specific styles.

Regards
Sharp.

1. The users WONT pay for it!
2. Korg wont PAY FOR IT!
3. Everyone wants free!
4. 3$ is a lot of money!

I started creating some Labedich, Freilich, Disco, a lot of Mezrahi stuff like
Kobi Peretz, Meydad Tasa and the rest but people have no interest unless
is for share only...then gave up, i still devellop but for the Jewish community
here in NYC for few Jewish music stores, they share it for free while they pay
me for my work but they dont just share it, they do share with a new keyboard.
Stuff like this in here:

Sharp,

Excellent comments.
Generic styles provided by Korg (or any other keyboard manufacturer) cover a lot of varied styles and provide a good start for any player. Specialty styles (regional, ethnic, etc.) define the specific preference and needs of the player.

While, there are many great musicians, it takes a special talent to create great styles. Only a handful have the ability to create professional sounding styles.

If we can poll the forum and see which regional and ethnic music is in big demand and missing from standard styles, Korg or third parties can develop those. If the cost is kept reasonable, volume sale may provide the return for the developer.

Kauser, a Poll wont help, Korg's biggest sole consumer was Turkey and then
second the Oriental world (Middle East and Balkan)...al they did forever is
only 4 Oriental styles or 6 i think in the PA800 and on...and they've heard it
all over and over again. Its not only about Korg, its about any Manufacturer.
Finally they released the 2 Oriental PA500 and the Oriental PA55, that was it.

Nedim,

Thats sad. I guess for manufacturers it is easier to modify what is already there. Hard to believe considering they are coming up with great electronics. Why not software?

By the way, how would we know if we don't try and let the manufacturer know what the community thinks. Their marketing dept should be doing this kind of research (any good progressive company would.
