Filter Cutoff in hz, ADSR in seconds

Post by Mutiny in Jonestown »

Hey all, just bought a fantastic book called "Welsh's Synthesizer Cookbook" and he provides several patch diagrams with settings for filter cutoff in hz and ADSR settings in seconds. Has anyone done a conversion of the digital values for filter cutoff (0-127) into the actual hz values? How about the ADSR (0-127) into the actual seconds they represent?

Thanks!

I can check with omnisphere in a bit as it deals with them instead of 0-127 with ADSR.

I've made some measurements of the ADSR times using audacity and they appear to be about a 30 second interval. Still don't know the filter cutoff values in Hz though...
