Any DM fans here? Boy, i think their new release is their best work for quite some time. Great music for synth lovers. Go for the 2-CD set as the song Long Tme Lie, the first official collaboration from Dave Gahan and Martin Gore together, is one hot song. A lot of the songs are a mix of blues and techno(synth blues!?!).

Have come late to love some of their music and unconventional harmonics.blinkofanI wrote:Any DM fans here? Boy, i think their new release is their best work for quite some time. Mostly because I did not understand theirs texts in the 80ties being german.
(Heard Tangerine Dream Tangram and such back than and still today!)
Was a schoolboy back then with no love for foreign languages.

I really love their songs from "Playing the Angel".
My all time favourite is "Blasphemous Rumors"

DM live
I heard DM live in CZ and have always felt since then DM sounds many times better live. So much raw energy and timing connecting people together. Was amazing! Good to hear the new CD sounds good. But I can only wonder how much better it would sound live. Some groups just plan sound best live and DM is the best example I know of.
Thanks for the heads up....3D movies worth buying are slow coming.
