Wavedrum Global - How do I access the Algorithms?

Post by ZamWave »

Hi,

I'm using the Wavedrum Global. By default, when I turn it on, I can access the menu of Programs (the first one is Snare 1). How do I get out of the menu of Programs and into the menu of Algorithms (the first one would be Udu)?

Yes, I've been through the documentation but find it incredibly confusing. I don't want to re-program anything (yet), I just want to access the menu of Algorithms.

Thanks.

This is from my Wavedrum Oriental manual:

Basic editing procedure
note: In order to edit a program, you must first select the
program that you want to edit in Live mode (See page 7).

1. Select the desired Edit mode.
Edit 1: Hold down the BANK/MODE button and press
button 2. The display will indicate Ed1 for several
seconds.
In Edit 1 mode you can adjust parameters such as
Tune, Decay, Level, Curve, and Effect (reverb,
delay), and select the algorithm and PCM instrument
(See page 12).
Edit 2: Hold down the BANK/MODE button and press
button 3. The display will indicate Ed2 for several
seconds.
In Edit 2 mode you can adjust the algorithm (See
page 14).

Page 14 will show you all the parameters that can be modified.

too lazy to read the manual ?
No prob in the Wavedrum forum

Big surprise :
I recently discovered and decoded 2 files on the SD Card .
So you can also use the hidden feature of voice control .

Get closer to the head piezo and simply say in clear words :

-------------------"Wavedrum access Algo"---------------------

more commands to follow.

Wavedrum Global - How do I access the Algorithms?

Post by ZamWave »

Hi.

Thanks for the reply to my question about the Wavedrum Global (less ranting about reading the manual would be helpful).

When I'm in Ed1 and I hit Button 1 it takes me into hd.A and I can access the 60 algorithms. Thats's ok. What do I have to do to access hd.P, the 200 PCM algorithms? When I try to press Button 2, it just shows - - - on the display.

Thanks.
