Question Bass sound

Post by Chromatix »

I previously owned the Microkorg I had to sell it some years ago . I absolutely love the sub bass program in hip hop B3, does the XL or the XL plus have the same program. I want to purchase whatever keyboard has it since this sound is essential to the music I create. I currently own the Korg triton extreme and im looking for a new piece of gear and ive narrowed it between the Microkorg MicrokorgXL MicrokorgXL+ , or the microsampler. I appreciate the feedback thanks

I saw in another post you bought the mKXL+ and did not wait for an answer here . Congrats.
Did you find the Sub Bass program in the meantime?
It is not part of the factory ones, but the Sound Editor for the mKXL+ comes with a file which contains the factory programs (Sub Bass included) of the mK for downloading them in your mKXL+ board. So there you go!
Have fun!

The R3 and Radias can easily do that sound, and they are both much better than any of the Microkorgs. Guitar Center in Hollywood has an R3 for $299.99 at this very moment. It has more than double the effects of the MKXL+, a better vocoder, full size synth keys, a modulation sequencer, and better programmable knobs.
