Hi All
can anyone tell me if it is possible to take backing tracks off a floppy created on a 01/WFD without using the drive on the keyboard ?

Yes, there's a program called “01WSMF” that can convert the songs stored on 01W disks to midi files.
You will have to search google for it though.

After answering you, I had a flash of Déjà vu.
Seems you have asked the same question more than once, and I have even answered you before.

No point in asking the same question over and over. The answer is not going to change.
