Kronos Editor 2.00 and Logic 9

Post by winip »

I am running Logic 9.1.7 and OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). I installed the Kronos editor and I have the newest operation system on the Kronos. The Kronos plug-in was scanned (in 32 bit) and it seemed to scan just fine. However, after installing and uninstalling the Kronos editor several times, etc. it does not show up in the Logic plug-in list.
Is there something I'm missing here? Any help greatly appreciated.

I was shown a dialogue box that said I had to run the editor stand alone before using it as a plug in.
Works like advertised since then.

Have you tried a plug in re-scan into logic?

Thank you for the replies. ran it standalone and I did a rescan but still no luck. I did have it working with the original editor and kronos operating system.

Thanks to help from this forum, I was able to get the 2.0 editor to work with OSX 7.5 by upgrading with this supplemental upgrade: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1599

OK I'm an idiot. The plug-in was actually installed. However, I was looking for something that said Kronos up front, and it is actually in the Sound Quest folder. It's all good now! Thank you for your posts.
