THAT would be a major announcement.

8) More information from a friend from Russian military intellegence:
Korg bought Open Labs, so their new keyboard will have Open Labs capabilities as well as all Korg things. That will be supper keyboard because u will be able to load any VSTi and DAW right in to the keyboard. Cool!

Open Labs>Windows
Kronos>Linux

Not going to happen

Although it would be nice to run Bristol on the Kronos

That's the way it strikes me too - not a product; it's a business thing; I guess it's possible it's a product, but like you say it's maybe returning to something - eg Multi-tracks (they stopped after the D3200XD)...
Maybe they bought Clavia? :-)

I do notunderstend what Clavia has that Kronos do not?
Clavia keyboards had alot less then Kronos but Clavia is targeted for thouse people who need some conventional sounds and easy to use with minimal pograming while Kronos is pretty complex and with good programing u can creat alot more sounds then with Clavia keyboards, and that's what makes Kronos cool

No, but acording to specifications the editing possibilities on Nord keyboards including Nord Stage 2 is pretty limited.i watched some reviews and tried at the store and it s not my cup of tea for the following reasons:
I came from Kurzweil VAST architecture and that was a beast with alot of editing possibilities so for me Clavia keyboards editing possibilities look like a joke
P.s. do not get me wrong, i am not saying Clavia is bad, i just saying that what i really dislike about Clavia is:
1) limited editing
2) hardwired knobs and the control sarface
3) super small interface with a tine screen
4) super small sampler memory
5) no digital outputs or imputs
6) red color

But for Clavia target audience i think it might be advantage and if they want to get a good sound with minimal or 0 programing and in this case Clavia does the job but if u need like me a very deep editing then no!

I don't remember the Kronos getting this much hype when they were coming out with it. So it's probably something bigger than that. But I would be happy if it was just a Kronos LE.
Seriously depending on what they take out I would consider buying it.

We've got to remember and realise that it may have nothing at all to do with Kronos.

At least we'll know one way or the other tomorrow.

it won't be about kronos.

EDIT: anyone can tell me which is the correct time zone for the announcement? is it the NY EST time (UTC-4) or George Town EST (UTC-5) ?
