Connecting bass pedal to wavedrum

Post by Poonam »

Hi,

I am totally new to the korg wavedrum so please bear with me. Can we connect a bass pedal to wavedrum? There is only one aux input and two unbalanced outputs.

The aux input is only really meant for connecting two wavedrums together or running an mp3 player or other audio source into one Wavedrum.

There is no "trigger" input available if you are hoping to connect a electronic kick pedal. However, if you search some of the other recent threads here you will find a variety of options that are being explored for modifying the wavedrum.

If you are hoping to connect a traditional pedal to the Wavedrum and use it as a kick drum, there are threads exploring that possibility as well.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. I thought the aux input will act as a trigger so that i can connect a electronic kick pedal :( I don't want to use it as a kick drum.

you can actually connect an electronic bassdrum pedal (like a Roland KD8)
after you read this thread and have a little soldering action.

An electronic repair shop will probably do this job for small money.
