Monotron Delay: add resonance knob?
Not very handy when it comes to electronics, but the monotrons seem like such a great way to get into mods. How difficult would it be to add a peak, or resanance, knob to the MT delay? Is it even possable? Thanks in advance..

My guess, based on rudimentary knowledge of resonant filters, is that it is definitely possible by adding an inductor to the VCF circuit.
I don't think it'd be a good first mod project, but maybe you're more ambitious than me. I just did some googling and there is a TONNE of info out there on how filters work, but there are also a lot of completely different ways to design such filters - you'll need to figure out how the Monotron's one works and then probably do some math to work out what you need to change.
Personally I was going to try to get into modding by adding VCO & drum outputs to my Monotribe - which is a hell of a lot simpler! But like I said, maybe you're more ambitious :)

I appreciate the comments my man... I'm afraid I'm not that ambitious. I was hoping it would be something along the lines of "attatch pot connectors to a and b." I'll just link the original monotron with the monotron delay. I was really just hoping to cut down on noise. Good lookin out my friend.

Actually it is not that hard! The resonance mod and other mods I have started a new website on :

enjoy!
