There are usually brands of gear that are "excluded" from these Musician's Friend deals...the last time I checked, every brand of equipment that I own (including Korg, Yamaha, Roland, and virtually every other keyboard made) was on the list...not that MF is a bad place to shop, I buy from them all of the time (my first KRONOS included), but their special offers never seem to work for me...

Guitar Center has that same problem - their coupons exclude just about everything they sell. I had to jump through hoops to get a trade-in offer honored to get my Kronos, the manager was helpful in pushing the deal through, though.

If you're after an 88, 20% is a big chunk.

I stopped shopping at MF when I purchased a sound module from them and it arrived with a flyer saying that the same module was on sale $50 off yet they charged me full price. Returned the module and ended up finding it at Chuck Levin's for a couple hundred less!

The problem with Musician's "Friend" is that the 20% off they give you is still more expensive than the store down the street. At least in my case!

Sounds like a good deal. Has anyone checked this out? The toll free number is different than the one on website. Just curious.
