why is it taking so long for the Austrian piano and Karo Lib

Man I keep checking the forum for any news on the new piano and karo strings and cp70 and nothing. I hope they are not trying to re-invent the wheel . I guess I start checking once a month :- P

Hi, l received this from Kurt From Karo on the 1st December 2011 and this is what he had to say about why the Karo samples are not available as yet.

Korg is working at the copy protection... I hope very soon.
I keep saying that the existing copy protection is already adequate - it's very hard to copy something that hasn't been released! I can understand why they'd want to delay the release by months to include the copy protection - they want to ensure people buy, not pirate. By not selling it they're making sure people buy it. Er wait, what?

On a similar note, when one of our customers had his machine crashed by the anti-virus software he was using, I pointed out that it had done an outstanding job as the machine's much more secure now that it's not running. For some reason he wasn't happy with that... honestly, there's no pleasing some people.
