My Microstation often freezes when I turn it on. Resetting by pressing play/mute and the 08 button when turn on does not seem to work. Any ideas?

I would contact Korg.
Within 7 days of owning my Microstation, it would freeze up after pressing "num lock" and go to a random sound. I call contacted Korg and they told me to return it for a replacement.
The store didn't have any new Microstations in stock but the display model. They offered it to me with the same warranty as a new one. I accepted it but had to return it right away as it would shut down if the the power cord moved. The service center had it for about 3 days and it still could not be fixed. By then, they had recieved a new batch and they replaced it with a new one.
No problems since.
