Wanted: A budgetable keyboard

Post by Dogmatic1010 »

Me and my father are in quite a difficult predicament right now, its around xmas and we dont have endless amounts of money to spend on equipment. I am a devoted musician and need a good keyboard for my band. Basically anything below $1000 for any of the following boards:

Korg M3
Korg M50
Roland Juno-Gi
Roland Fantom G6/G7
Roland Gw8
Korg Kronos
Korg PA3X//PA800

My only requests other than that are some pictures of the keyboard youre offering, a brief list of its features/sounds, and price in a PM (emails can be further exchanged there.)

Thanks in advance very much to anyone offering,
Derek

PS: If youre overseas or even just in the US, my dad is only willing to pay with paypal, no WesternUnion or Moneygram or checks sorry.

Appreciate your predicament but you need to keep things real...

You're not going to get a Kronos, PA3x, G6, G7 for $1,000 or less!

Gw8 maybe. M50 yes. M3 possibly.

I wonder - have you thought about a Korg M1? This keyboard is still popular and creates many well-known and familiar 'standard' band sounds.

And it's a lot cheaper than $1,000 on eBay. Just a thought.

All this and more is easily found online with a Google search.

I have searched, the cost-a-fortune tags are all the same.

Have you checked on eBay, local newspapers, or visited any music stores and checked out their new and used keyboards?

The M50, Juno Gi, and Roland GW8 are all within your price range. Lots of great sales this time of year.

I've had my M3 for about 4 years now and really enjoy it. It's my go-to keyboard in the studio when it comes to composing songs. The KARMA feature is amazing... it's like having a full band to play along with.

I've written many new songs and re-worked several of my old ones. I considered getting a Kronos, but after all the time and energy I've put into the M3. I'm going to pass for now. There's still more sonic potential to be uncovered.

I found a Juno-Gi on eBay for $700-somethin. I hope to be collecting keyboards of all types in the future considering I'm a keyboard enthusiast and devoted musician. So I'll eventually probably collect the M3 and Kronos together sometime in the future. It does put a weight on your back when the keyboard youre considering is discontinued (luckily the juno-gi isnt, it just came out last year.)

"Hey there everyone I'm after a Roland Jupiter 80"

"I'm in a band and am a dedicated Musician, don't have much money as I have 18 kids to feed, and have to have their cardboard boxes which they sleep in cleaned for the Christmas holidays we will be lucky if we get a Turkey bone this year"

"we have a hamster with 2 legs and a Blind cat which we're happy to part exchange and can donate at least 3 walnuts and a Tangerine plus a half sucked Peardrop for your trouble"

"My one eyed blind uncle can even accept paypal, which seeing as we're expecting you to sell the Jupiter 80 for peanuts you may as well pay the paypal Fee for you to retrieve the money to your account because as your generous enough to sell us any of those synths for a giveaway price we suspect you don't mind paying the fee as you won't miss the extra few pennies seeing as you graft daily to pay for these wonderful expensive toys anyway

"If anyone could be so generous we would be forever at your Mercy, even though we can't be bothered to think more in terms of our budget or consider selling the R3 to part fund something, because we for some reason think you'd all be dumb enough to sell us any of those synths youve paid full price for,for next to nothing"!!!

"Please feel free to PM us to tell us to Fook off you freeloading scroungers "

Kind regards
The Kontrol49 Family

RE: Casio WK-7500

Post by nc88keyz »

Search out and found Casio WK-7500 for 355 US shipped from uniguesquared.com

Had to use 10% coupon, he loved the upgrade from the DGX230.

I think the WK-7500 is facinating for the money he paid especially when we turned the DGX230 for 200 on ebay.

Its not on sale anymore, but keep eyes open maybe it goes back to 399.

Coupon for 10% was found on retailmenot site.

Its not a korg, but its a fine bridge workstation and doesnt break the bank.

Its also 76keys

I have a Korg X5D in perfect condition, if you're interested. Not in the same league as the other boards you mentioned, but I'd sell it for less than $400.

Korg M1 61 Keys -- Excellent Condition

Post by rastogig »

Not sure if you're still looking for a keyboard. I have a nearly mint condition Korg M1 61 Keys. Ive probably used it for less than a month over the last 3 years. I think we can work something out to suit your budget. If interested please PM me and then I'll send you pics.

Thanks very much.
