Thomann still doesn't ship Kronos. Amazing.

If one dealer doesn't have any in stock, try other dealers...

The reason why so many members are still waiting is because no dealers in Europe seem to 'have them in'. Pease correct me if I am wrong, and specify which ones do.
Rhodes 73 Mk1; Kronos 88; Synthex; Electribe EMX-1; Motif XS Rack; Yamaha DX7IIFD; Yamaha MM8; Roland Alpha Juno-2; Roland JV-2080; Tascam FW-1884.

I checked locally in Sweden (why didn't I do that first ~:/ ?), and Musikbörsen lists them:
61: 29.950 SEK
73: 34.950 SEK
88: 36.950 SEK

Surprisingly small difference between the models.

The difference is mostly a few hunderd euros (or $) between 73 and 88 and a bit more between 61 and 73. However, since the base price of the Kronos is quite high (which is obvious because of the new hardware and features) the price of the keyboard is relatively low in the cost 'weight'.

I don't know; that's not my department! But, I think it's worthwhile to call around. Even if they don't have it in stock, they may have room on a waiting list.

It's true that a lot of stores do not have a Kronos, but in most countries there are Kroni available ... so calling around is a good tip. Don't expect discounts/reductions tough.

I am an original pre-orderer, awaiting a K88. First it was June, then definately end of July and now 1st week in September (I hope).

I can't hear that discussion anymore. I think people who really want to have one Kronos early (I just speak from the 61 Version) already have one. I received mine without any problems (just a few telephone calls) 3 weeks ago. Everybody who followed other threads know already, that Thomann is not the prefered channel. Korg prefered little local dealers. That was mentioned already 2 months ago in this forum.
So you had two months time to order from another dealer, or get it from stock there (I know people, who had these lucky punches). But just sitting and waiting for Thomann....own fault. Support your local dealers!

Of course I don't speak from the 73 and 88 Versions. This is a different topic.
She told me it was either her or the Kronos! I'm going to miss her...

Perfectly put.. Let me add, Thomann is the last place I'd buy anything. In my experience, local dealers would normally match or beat Thomann prices if the buyers do a good job in negotiating.

I do buy from Thomann regularly. They usually are fast, reliable and offer good service. (Just received a pair of Genelec 8040s from them today by the way 8)...)
That said, I also do buy from my local dealer because there I can get a hands-on experience and can compare products before I buy. It's true that they usually are willing to match Thomann's prices.
And indeed the current situation in Europe seems to be that local dealers are much more likely to have Kronos in stock than the big internet-shops.
I got my Kronos 61 in early July! (No pre-order at all)
Solaris, Wavestation, Rhodes 73 MKII stage, Access Virus TI, Nord C2 with Neo Ventilator, Kawai MP9000 & MP6, Novation 61 SL MKII

I agree with the reply. Have ordered several deliveries from Thomann without any problems. Prices are mostly less than local dealers (but I do not call them always to negotiate for an equal price).

I happened to be in Bristol today, and thought I'd pop in and ask if PMT had any news on delivery, but nothing, still.
