Kaoss Pad 2 Problems, Urgent Help Needed.

Hey,
My Kaoss Pad 2 is acting really strange,
I just got back yesterday from a gig when I find that I cannot hear anything through my Kaoss pad unless I used an effect
(So basicly if I'm playing a patch from my emx i won't be able to hear it at all unless i push hold on my kaoss pad)
this has never happend to me before and i reallyd on't understand what's happening.
my equiptment was moved by the crew but even if they dropped it i don't understand why it half works.
Help me out please because I need to use it for upcoming gigs.

Flick the connection switch on the back to direct?
