Load times for Triton sounds

Post by Budgie Man »

Hi there,

How long should it typically take to change from one sound to another? A friend of mine has a Triton and he claims to need up to a minute to load different sounds. That seems like an awful lot of time if you're playing a gig and the band needs to stand around and wait for the Triton to load between songs. Am I wrong?javascript:emoticon(':?')

Internal programs and combinations will change almost instantly.

If you are loading samples from a floppy disk (or other source), the sample size will determine load time.

If you're loading samples, there's no reason not to load all the samples you'll need for your gig before it starts, instead of loading them between songs.
