Start/stop switch broken, have footswitch need help

Start/stop switch broken, have footswitch need help

I have a used Triton Pro. The start/stop switch broke off (and fell inside the case). I have a footswitch. I can start and stop songs with it in SEQ mode, but can no longer record. Any insight?
