Cannot save to SCSI Jaz drive

Post by Crystaljuggler »

Hi all - I've got an ADSG 2GB Jaz drive hooked up to my Triton Classic, using brand new 1GB cartridges. Triton reads from the disks perfectly. Which is great, but I don't seem to be able to save anything! No matter what I ask it to save, it pops up with "No space available on medium." Which does sort of defeat the object of having the removable storage with oodles of available space. I can't format disks either.

I've tried various combinations of SCSI IDs, terminations, looked for settings, the "Media info" tab tells me I've got 1000MB of space, no write protect, removable media supported. Any ideas from anyone?

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this!

Is the Jaz Disk PC or Triton formatted.
It must be Triton formatted to save to it.

The disks are formatted as FAT - I can't use the Triton to format them.
