Amen to that 8)

After all, what really matters in the end (sequenser issue or not) is what the keyboard actually sounds like. At least to me. As far as the Oasys, it's only limited by the musician who are playing on it.

This will be a classic and sell like the Prophet VS and for 16k in ten years from now. I will purchase another and shelve it in the garage so I can get lots of money latter!

I think Korg's marketing is doing what EMU did before they went to cheap cheesy boxes and Ensoniq purchased them and removed the Freto Lay CEO that new nothing of music. I beta tested and EMU was on a great box then it got canceld, along with all the good sounds we did in the studio. The suits start running the programmers out, and find most profit in the cheap computer stuff. Korg has been great about ballancing but I fear that they are headed down that pipe! and those who own OASYS will have to wait 10 years then cash out on Ebay. The Keyboard sounds awsome. A the best i have ever owned. It is a shame that Marketing has decided to abandon it. They will pay a price! I also own the M3 88 fully loaded and it does not even compare to the Oasys. Sounds like a m1 on steroids. If Korg would get rid of that same old same old PCM banks and put in some new sounds both Orchestral and Rap, groves Karma they would have the market as the engine software is there.

Well don't feel bad I bought a Fairlight for 158k and it sold on ebay for $1500 plus shipping. I owned a Synclavier and it heats the guest house!
Owned a Kurzweil 250 and sold it for $300.00.

Korg is just panicking because Kurzweil will ship the PC3RX with a poly upgrade to 240 and new sound banks and synth in August 2009 for $1900.00 . So we will see what Korg does as a one space rack with both synth and 240 poly, digital and Firewire will put the m3 to shame.

Kind Regards,
Barend
If it ain't broke...fix it! Because Korg put #2 Phillips heads on it.
