Awesome info hehe.

He has three of them??? Wish I had the money for that lol

I never got the thing with keyboardists playing with their instruments facing out though.

2 TR's and Karma...
I think he used 3 TR's and Karma on Exit fest. One more on his right side, also tilted...
Derek Sherinian said it's a fasion statement :)... about tilted keys...
I used to play like that, tilted keys, it has good feel to it, its easyer, it looks cool!

Wish I Had an Interview:
Platinum-selling rockers Nightwish talk about their new album, Dark Passion Play
...“For the live shows I leave the OASYS monster at home,” he shared, “to save the roadies’s backs and nerves. I have two KORG Triton TR’s and the Karma. All the OASYS sounds are sampled into a software sampler, so I can then play them with any MIDI keyboard.”...

Now he added one more Tr, so its 3xTr + 1xKarma!

He was using (live) Karma, N364 and triton (classic, or studio...)!

Do you need a special stand to get that tilt? I think it's cool :)

No. You can use normal x stand with uper tier for 2nd keyboard, turn it around and set it low... like Jens!

I'm not shure how Tuomas did it with baby spider, probably some custom tier...

Can confirm, on Dark Passion Tour he uses *THREE* TR61s and his faithful KARMA. Been there, done that

Previously live he used N364, Triton Classic and KARMA (Once tour), Trinity and N364 duo at one point and he also had a Korg X3 (methinks) on his first Nightwish gigs.

He must not be a fan of using a midi pedal to change patches... Honestly, beyond two boards, not changing your patches is just damn lazy... or too much fluff.

I can imagine, that one is connected to PC for VSTi another 2 are for "seamless" switching or sampling.

YOU BUM!!!

But actually, if I had the money, I know I would have two. Three might just be a pain to lug around.
