I own an Ensoniq Fizmo which is a wavetable synth which borrows heavily from the Waldorf PPG line - wavetables and all.

In any case, wavetable synthesis is something very cool to play with, as the tables have much more harmonic action than you can get from the usual synth, like pulse width modulation with insane processing going on. But the cool thing about the new Waldorfs like the Blofeld is they don't leave you hanging in the old school sounds like PWM and oscillator sync.
I want one very badly - you should too - but I'm suffering from the Oasys bug, and I'm having another argument with myself on whether or not to get one. So Blofeld is going to have to wait in his island stronghold just a bit longer.
