CAN I DO MULTI TRACK SEQUENCING WITH KORG M1 LE SOFTWARE OR THE LEGACY COLLECTION SOFTWARE.
I just bought the K49 controller and recioeved the m1 le software full version along with the demo of legacy collection . I really dig these sounds but I what I really want to do is multi track recording and sequencing. Can I do this with the Korg le software or korg Legacy collection software, or are these softwares just to create beautiful sounds?
Thats all to create sounds?
If not any suggestions for multi track recording/sequencing using vindows vista while using the same sounds from the korg m1 le or legacy collection software?

You might try "Reaper":
http://www.reaper.fm/
It is very inexpensive (when compared to products like Steinberg Cubase 4, Cakewalk Sonar 7 or Ableton Live 7) and it supports VST plugins (i.e. virtual instruments [like the KLC-DE M1] that use the VST plugin format).
Another value priced sequencer is Mackie's Tracktion 2:

Cakewalk's Sonar Home Studio and Project 5 v2.5 are far better than either of the options you mention and can be bought for under $100...MartinHines wrote:You might try "Reaper":

If you're on a Mac, you already have Garage Band.
Which one of these sequenceing software actually works with vista.
Nothing seems to work with vista for me ..I have to be searching for drivers ect.
Just bought the korg legacy collection software 1.2 which does not work with vista either, it seems so complicated to install too.
The demo did work with my version of vista in one simple install.
Any suggestions?

It really depends. I prefer Tracktion to anything else for my simple tasks of composing music with VST instruments and a couple of hardware synths.brzilian wrote: Cakewalk's Sonar Home Studio and Project 5 v2.5 are far better than either of the options you mention and can be bought for under $100...
By the way, I have no problems whatsoever running Tracktion 3 and Korg Legacy Collection (both Digital and Analog 2007 editions) in Vista.
