Extra Sounds for Pa1x published by Korg

I hope I'm not repeating information previously discussed on this forum, but I couldn't find anything about this when I searched.

Last year, Korg posted some useful sounds for use on the Pa1x. The sounds can be downloaded here:

Thanks. I didn't know about these. I am not a Guru so I will ask this question. Where do I store these sounds. I'm thinking Sounds User Banks.

Hi Gorilla,

Yes these sounds by default will occupy User Bank 1 if you load the complete .SET folder, although you can redirect individual sounds anywhere you want by using the Open function on the .SET folder, and loading sounds individually. The OS then allows you to specify the exact location.

Before you load a complete .SET folder please make sure your existing User sounds and styles are backed up. Also if any .SET folder you are about to load contains a GLOBAL folder within it then I think it's better to delete that folder otherwise you will pick up someone else's GLOBAL settings when you load the .SET file. Also I always lock GLOBAL memory on my Pa1x to be even safer!
