How do I get rid of the bass guitar, Its in every sound from drums to to everything else. Woodwinds, horns, piano all have a bass guitar with it

could be the ribbon cable is not back the same way when you took it out. I found that out. I know its been a few years but just in case you came back to this thread

My ribbon cable that I originally had worked. Funny that it only goes in one way. If you go end for end it won't work. Or have it upside down it won't work. I did get some from Ali express. Just by chance that I put the ribbon cable in a different way. I purchased one of those Gotek hard drives off ...

take the back off to replace the battery. You won't lose any sounds. I replaced my battery everything was back the same way.

Thank you. I found on another site, someone suggested Ali Express. Kind of a hit and miss with them. We will see. Also since I replaced the Floppy drive with the hard drive I sent a message to them. They do have a bunch in stock. So I will wait for Ali Express first. I appreciate your help!

I have some songs in the sequencer. Any reason why if I have no effects set and it still sounds like a phaser is on all instruments? Shot in the dark, I know but maybe someone can say something

I had never done it before, and I got through it no problem
X5 can't be much different than the x3

I was sort of having the same problem with the x3,,,I turned the power on and there was nothing. I had to hold enter and down button and then push power button and it turned on.

So I took out the battery and replaced it. To turn it on I preessed enter then power. Or enter ,down button and power switch.

I ended up tearing the whole thing apart, replaced a few switches. Took out the floppy drive and replaced it with a usb floppy drive. Its running better than ever.

So I have been resoldering new switches, going to replace the floppy disc drive with a usb drive and was curious about the tiny battery. I have never replaced it, so I was wondering if I replace it, do I have to do anything to get it working again?
