I know this isn't possible with R3 unless you use the STANDARD MIDI in and then use the USB midi to do the editing

Glad you sorted it, Just an FYI for other XP users.... Make sure you are using the r3 driver (KORG MIDI) downloaded from the UK Korg website. RTFM - You will need to hold shift and then protect and spin the control knob to "protection off" in order to WRITE (not transmit) patches. :idea:
