I have Cantabile songs with Wavestate and Modwave both in, so when I get five minutes I will see if I can reproduce it, and thanks for the support link

I've seen similar in my live setup, which uses Cantabile as the live host. ... I really need to try and capture it some time and report to Korg. Derek, thanks for confirming I'm not alone with this problem and that it doesn't seem to be specific to use in Reaper. What's the best way of reporting ...

I've seen similar in my live setup, which uses Cantabile as the live host. It is usually OK so long as I do not go back and reselect a song (like when I am practising). When it happens if I go into the plugin in, forward to the next patch and come back to the selected patch, it stops. I really need ...

My primary excitement about the Kronos engines is that they're in hardware form. I chose Kronos over the original Montage because it seemed like the K had more horsepower in this regard with nine engines. Once you get into plugins, however, you're competing with a huge array of offerings, from big ...

It was interesting that in the Korg Collection 5, EP-1 has made an appearance, which is now 3 of the nine engines in plugin form. Hopefully they will release the other ones as time goes on.

I agree that the Nautilus is a downgrade, which is why I have stuck with my 10 year old Kronos X-61 as it has all I need - especially the control surface and KARMA. It is now paired with a Montage M7 (a significant upgrade from my Montage 7), which is a great upgrade - especially the AN-X engine. AL ...

Today the Kronos stopped working - got this error message all the time after each reboot. I opened the Kronos removed and reconnected some connections - no help. Removed the memory card - it came out very easily - got the dame error message (without the memory card attached). Cleaned the contacts ...

I like night and I like day :) A little back story first and then my views... I have a Kronos X61 (since 2014) and I have a Montage M7 (I upgraded from a Montage 7 that I purchased in 2017) I am a long time Yamaha user who went to the dark side of Korg after I gave up hope up of Yamaha ever being ...

99% of all the keyboard problems I have ever had are bad connections on the cables between boards, so that is the first thing I look for in a case like this. Connections can oxidise/tarnish over time leading to poor contacts, and there is also another phenomena called "thermal creep" where heat ...

I have a Kronos 2, and I just went through something. My motherboard went bad. Basically I would repeatedly get the dreaded "An error has been detected" line, often followed by power cycling. I went through all the troubleshooting steps, and I was fairly certain it was the motherboard when I had ...

It is worrying that Korg considered it unrepairable, but then when I look at my X61 it is ten years old - but pretty essential to me. Probably in this case if it happened to me and Korg UK would not repair, I would be seeking another working version and keeping my current one for spares. Long term ...

I am praying they will come out with a VST version of the Kronos, either as a package or the individual sound engines. Poly61 and MS20 are already there but I rarely use those. AL-1 is pretty critical to me as is HD-1 with Wavesequencing and Karma. All the other engines I could probably replace with ...

@StephenKay, will you recode the Karma software for this PS-3300? :-) Sure, no problem. I'm sure there will be a huge market for it. :) Speaking about the Karma software - are people still buying it? Ever thought of offering at a substantial discount / freeware it? I sell a copy every now and then ...

I cannot say if it would solve your problem, but all the research I did before purchasing my Kronos in 2014 suggested that a UPS was pretty much a necessity for peace of mind on stage. So I have always gigged with one. In the studio I do not bother but we are blessed with pretty stable power (for ...

I still say we have probably not fully dived into what the Kronos can do, so why the rush?
