recently replaced clock/date battery ...

same price at Guitar Center as Sweetwater ... priced higher at Sam Ash ..

i think you are misinformed regarding Sweetwater's pricing ..!?!!

many Volume/Expression pedals have an extra 'minimum' volume knob ... that would limit the lower volume level .. then your master keyboard volume knob could be you maximum level control . giving you the lower and higher volumes you want ... a stereo volume pedal using your keyboards 1/4 inch outputs ...

how difficult is it to replace that battery .. ?? i have never opened up my Kronos in the 10 years i've had it ...

if you really like the korg rh3 action , i believe the D1 is about the cheapest , lightest way to get into it .. ! i have a Kronos 88 , which I don't want to carry around ... but i needed a few more features in a stage piano ... i got a dexibel S7-pro , which is more costly than the D1 . the action ...

if Moxf sounds fine ... then i'd suspect variations in sampled notes/velocities ... like you'd find on a real piano ... which patch and notes ... maybe others can check their Kronos .?!

can you tweak your fav piano patch to find that midway point between velocity levels #4-5 ..?? velocity cross over points/levels .?

after trying a few lightly weighted actions , I went back to fully weighed ... being a classically trained old fart , I really tried to practice and get used to the action ... and could Not . I would think folks who have always played organ/synth actions would adapt better .!? I would try adjusting ...
