Stiff knob on MS-20M Kit

I just assembled my MS-20M this past weekend and I was thrilled with it until I tried to turn the MG/T.EXT knob under the low pass filter. I had to use a lot of force to turn it compared to all the other knobs. I took the nut off and put it back loosely, but it made no difference. Does anyone happen ...

I'm in the exact same boat. I got an EHX2880 from ebay to work with my KP3, but never had time to build a setup out of it. I suspect that the KP3 would continually send out midi clock. That very same feature confuses many people at first, because the clock continues to run even when you don't have a ...

If you save the individual samples instead of the Save All then you have from 0-99.

In a thread a while back, I remember that it was discussed that you can't come any where near filling up an most SD cards.

You can sample or resample (recording sample that the KP3 is playing back with effects back to another sample) without stopping the sound.

You can load a bank of 4 samples A-D or load them individually.

Either load process stops is going to stop the sound the very second you enter the menu for loading.

The padKontrol is just a controller. With out a computer or some other sound source you will not get any sound out of it. You would need to hook the midi out of the padKontrol into something like a drum machine, synth or sampler and hook that device up to an amp.

There are some creative videos on YouTube, but the important thing to remember is that your creativity will be limited to working with 4 samples. You can't load a sample or a new bank of samples without interrupting the sound. You can use one of the effects programs that don't require input like the ...

It sure sounds possible. I have done those sort of things in the past iin the good old college days. Maybe I'll give it a shot for my self esteem. It should be quick to find where all the parameters are stored. Hopefully the audio data is just tacked on at the end. Maybe it will have a header to ...

DOes that controller have octave buttons? If it does, you might try hitting the octave down button to see if it fixes your problem. It could be that Reason isn't configured to respond to the lowest octave on your microcontrol.
