In the kp3 editor ... does the global menu in the ext control and global page refer to midi notes received . Or is it only for notes sent by the physical pads? When the red lights for the ...

Hoping one of you experts can help me out. I used to have an XP computer, which I replaced with a Vista computer. Using the old computer I had updated my KP3 to version 2 (I believe). Anyway, I begin by installing the Korg USB driver on the Vista PC. It appears to work without a hitch. When I power ...

Sample Time
I apologize if this has been discussed. Couldn't find it using the search. Did the sample time (for one shots) increase with the OS update. Is there an official limit or is this one of those try and see situations. I vaguely recall something 15 seconds in the initial OS (I may be wrong). I am trying ...

Let's talk about arrangements ...
What arranging strategies do you employ? It seems to me that I use five kinds of loops: 1) Basic Drum loop 2) Ornamented drum loop or percussion loop 3) Bass loop 4) Pad/drone/noise 5) Some kind of mid-range comping pattern (guitar, synth arp, etc.) Generally, the 4 loops are chosen from these five ...

Tips and Tricks Thread
Here's a thread for us to share stuff we have learned that may not be in the manual (or it may be less known). Here are two: - The program/bpm knobs scrolls faster if you hold down the shift key. So when you want to swoop up from 80 BPM to 220 in one move, hold down the shift key. Works similarly ...

Is there a way to ... ?
Is there a way to ... Have a loop sample trigger from it's start point regardless of what the BPM indicator is doing. I am trying to use the Kaoss to start a song (without fading it in). Typically I would hit the BPM synchronize button, count off four and then hit the sample button at the right time ...
